今朝の児童朝会は、後期児童会委員会委員長の認証式でした。

司会の先生から名前を呼ばれると、「はい！」とさわやかな挨拶。一人一人に認証書を渡しました。

私は、一人一人に「お願いします。」と声を掛けました。

代表委員長さんが、今年度の児童会目標とそれについて自分の願いを語りました。特に、「あいさつ」を大切にしたいという内容だと聴きとりました。

私も少し時間をいただきました。

児童会とは、小学校における児童による自治的な活動組織のことです。児童が主体となって学校生活をよりよくするために活動する場であり、民主的な考え方や協力する力、責任感などを育むことを目的としています。

委員長にも、それを支える５・６年生＝委員さんにも、そして、児童会の一員である1年生から4年生にも「（よろしく）お願いしたいこと」を話しました。

それは、「声を出すこと」です。委員長さんの呼びかけに委員が応える。委員会からの呼びかけに全校児童で応える。

また、代表委員長さんの挨拶の話に絡めて、気持ちのよい挨拶を交わし合うことで、よりよい（ＶＩＶＡ！）な今渡北小学校をつくっていくこと。

声の中身は、仲間を、そして自分自身にも「認め・励まし・勇気づける」言葉がよいこと。相手を悲しませる＝いじめにつながる声は出さない。いじめはゆるさないことを全校児童と職員で確認しました。

さあ、後期、どんな児童会活動＝自治活動＝が展開されるか楽しみです。

🇵🇹 ポルトガル語（expressão gentil e simples）

Esta manhã, na reunião dos alunos, tivemos a cerimônia de reconhecimento dos presidentes dos comitês do conselho estudantil do segundo semestre.

Quando o professor chamou seus nomes, cada aluno respondeu com um alegre “Sim!” e recebeu seu certificado.

Ao entregar os certificados, eu disse gentilmente: “Conto com você.”

Depois, o presidente representante falou sobre a meta do conselho estudantil para este ano e compartilhou seus desejos. Ele destacou especialmente a importância de valorizar os cumprimentos.

Também tive um tempinho para falar.

O conselho estudantil é um grupo onde os alunos pensam e agem juntos para tornar a vida escolar melhor. Eles aprendem sobre cooperação, responsabilidade e pensamento democrático.

Falei com os presidentes, com os membros dos comitês (alunos do 5º e 6º ano), e também com todos os alunos do 1º ao 4º ano sobre algo que espero que façam.

Isso é: “Usar a voz.” Quando o presidente chama, os membros respondem. Quando o comitê fala, toda a escola responde.

E como o presidente representante mencionou, ao trocarmos cumprimentos amigáveis, podemos tornar nossa escola ainda mais maravilhosa.

As palavras que usamos devem reconhecer, encorajar e dar coragem aos amigos e a nós mesmos. Não devemos usar palavras que machucam os outros ou que levam ao bullying. Confirmamos juntos que o bullying não será aceito.

Agora, estou animado para ver como serão as atividades do conselho estudantil neste segundo semestre!

🇵🇭 Taglish（Tagalog-English, gentle and friendly tone）

This morning, during our student assembly, we had the recognition ceremony for the second-term student council chairpersons.

When the teacher called their names, each one happily answered “Yes!” and received their certificate.

While giving the certificates, I gently said, “Please do your best.”

Then, the representative chairperson shared the student council’s goal for this school year and his personal wish. He especially said that greetings are very important.

I also had a short time to speak.

The student council is a group where students work together to make school life better. It helps us learn how to cooperate, be responsible, and think in a democratic way.

I talked to the chairpersons, the committee members (Grade 5 and 6), and also to all students from Grade 1 to 4 about something I hope they will do.

That is: “Use your voice.” When the chairperson speaks, the members respond. When the committee calls out, the whole school answers.

Also, just like the representative chairperson said, exchanging kind greetings helps make our school even more awesome.

The words we say should recognize, encourage, and give courage to our friends and to ourselves. We should not say things that hurt others or lead to bullying. We all agreed that bullying is not allowed.

Now, I’m excited to see what kind of student council activities will happen this second term!
