＊Hoje de manhã (das 9:30 às 11:20), a cerimônia de encerramento do Curso de Educação Familiar foi realizada na sala do diretor.

Participaram 14 membros do curso, o responsável da prefeitura de Kani, a vice-diretora (responsável interna) e eu também fui convidado(a) como diretor(a).

Acabei esquecendo de tirar fotos… Ter uma oportunidade em que os pais e a escola (a equipe gestora) possam conversar cara a cara é um momento muito “alegre e gratificante”. Para mim, foi um momento que eu realmente “adorei”.

Espero que também tenha sido assim para todos os participantes. E ficarei muito feliz se pudermos continuar tendo oportunidades como esta no futuro.

＊Agora, sobre as “Cinco Regras do Imakita”, que o Conselho Estudantil da nossa escola valoriza há muito tempo.

Hoje é a letra “TA”… e vou mostrar como está o “limpar em silêncio”.

Estas são as fotos dos alunos do 6º ano. Nenhuma voz durante a limpeza — todos faziam suas tarefas com concentração.

Esta é a entrada principal. Isso também apareceu no questionário dos pais. Durante a limpeza, fechamos a porta. A poeira é intensa todos os dias. Existe a ideia de fechar a porta logo que os alunos chegam, mas deixamos aberta para evitar riscos como congestionamento no momento da locomoção ou dificuldades porque a porta é pesada.

Logo pela manhã, os funcionários passam o mop. No horário de limpeza, são as crianças que limpam. Vamos continuar pensando em boas soluções.

Pelo menos pelas fotos, dá para “ouvir” os sons? O som da água, das vassouras, dos passos passando o pano… Também aqui não se ouviu conversa alguma.

O “limpar em silêncio” é um dos orgulhos da Escola Primária Imakita.

＊This morning (9:30–11:20), we held the closing ceremony of the Family Education Program in the principal’s office.

There were 14 participants from the class, a representative from Kani City Hall, our assistant principal (the school coordinator), and I was also invited as the principal.

I forgot to take pictures… Moments where parents and the school leadership can sit down and talk face-to-face are really “happy and enjoyable” times. For me, it was something I truly “loved.”

I hope it was the same for all the participants. And I would be very happy if we could continue having opportunities like this in the future.

＊Now, about the “Five Promises of Imakita,” which our Student Council has valued for many years.

Today’s letter is “TA”… showing the practice of “silent cleaning.”

Here are the 6th graders. No talking — everyone was doing their assigned cleaning quietly and seriously.

This is the main entrance. This was also mentioned in the parent survey. During cleaning time, we close the door. The dust is really heavy every day. There is an idea to close the entrance right after the children arrive, but we keep it open because it may cause congestion and possible danger when children move around, and also because the door is heavy.

Every morning, the staff mops the floor first. During cleaning time, the children do the cleaning. We will continue thinking of better ways to handle this.

Next is the 2nd grade floor.

Then the 3rd grade floor.

From the photos, can you “hear” the sounds? The water, the brooms, the footsteps while wiping the floor… Again, no talking was heard.

“Silent cleaning” is one of Imakita Elementary School’s prides.
