＊10月19日（日）の話題です。

運動会を目前に、運動場をきれいにしようと環境作業ボランティアを募ったところ、この日は45家族のエントリーがありました。

実際には２６家族は参加してくださいました。そのうち２家族は当日参加です。

この日は、スポ少のバスケット・サッカーチームも活動してくださいました。この時期のスポ少環境整備ボランティア（先週は野球チームも）は、毎年恒例行事とのこと。私は過去5年、本校に勤務していましたが知りませんでした。「ありがとうございます。」

では、作業の様子を紹介します。

私たちは、グランドに駐車しました。

7時10分集合としました（予定では7時30分でした）。

開会式

作業開始。今回はグランド中心です。

親子で一緒に

やりがいがあります。

子どもは力仕事（大変なこと）をやってみたいんですね。

雨が少し強くなってきたので8時に切り上げました。

◆今回、外国籍児童の保護者さんが4家族参加くださいました。「ありがとうございます。今回、どうして参加しようと思われたのですか。」と声を掛けました。日本語が通じるかとか気にもせず、思わず話しかけていました。」

「子どもたちのために。」「いつもお世話になっていますから。」「私たちも一緒です。」「いつも参加できなくてごめんね。」（日本語がわかる方々でよかったです。）うれし言葉でした。

◆子どもにも訊いてきました。「楽しそうだったから。」「お母さんにきいたら、いいよって言ったから。」

◆保護者様にも訊いてみました。「夏に参加できなかったから。」「参加しようかな、と子どもに声をかけたら乗ってきたから。」

先週は、慌てて解散でしたが、２回目ということでちょっと落ち着いて最後の時間を迎えました。そうだ、記念写真を！ということでこの1枚を紹介します。（前回のみなさん、ごめんなさい）

「一緒に活動すると、身近に感じる/笑顔になれる。」は私の持論です。

サッカーチームは正門前の地下道もきれいにしてくださいました。

バスケチームの保護者様ら「可児市のごみ袋で１０袋草抜きしましたよ！」と笑顔で報告いただきました。

Com a aproximação do dia do evento esportivo, convidamos voluntários para ajudar na limpeza do pátio da escola.
Recebemos inscrições de 45 famílias, e 26 delas participaram de fato, incluindo 2 famílias que se juntaram no próprio dia.

Neste mesmo dia, os times de basquete e futebol da associação esportiva da escola também estavam em atividade.
Essas ações de voluntariado para manutenção do ambiente escolar por parte dos times esportivos (semana passada foi o time de beisebol) já são uma tradição anual.
Mesmo estando na escola há 5 anos, eu não sabia disso. Muito obrigado!

Agora, vamos mostrar como foi o trabalho:

• Estacionamos no pátio da escola.
• A reunião foi marcada para as 7h10 (originalmente seria às 7h30).
• Cerimônia de abertura.
• Início das atividades, com foco na limpeza do pátio.
• Pais e filhos trabalhando juntos.
• Foi uma atividade gratificante.
• As crianças queriam experimentar tarefas pesadas — elas gostam de desafios!
• Como a chuva começou a apertar, encerramos às 8h.

◆ Desta vez, 4 famílias de alunos estrangeiros participaram.
Perguntei: “Por que decidiram participar hoje?” — sem nem pensar se falavam japonês ou não.

As respostas foram emocionantes:
“Pelos nossos filhos.”
“Porque sempre recebemos ajuda.”
“Estamos juntos com todos.”
“Desculpe por nem sempre poder participar.”

Fiquei muito feliz com essas palavras.

Diferente da semana passada, que terminou de forma apressada, desta vez conseguimos encerrar com mais calma.

📅 Topic for October 19 (Sunday)

With the sports day coming up, we invited volunteers to help clean the school grounds.
45 families signed up, and 26 families actually joined, including 2 who came on the day itself.

On the same day, the school’s basketball and soccer teams were also active.
These kinds of volunteer clean-up efforts by sports teams (last week it was the baseball team) are apparently a yearly tradition.
Even though I’ve worked at this school for 5 years, I didn’t know that. Thank you so much!

Here’s how the day went:

• We parked on the school ground.
• We gathered at 7:10 AM (originally planned for 7:30).
• Opening ceremony.
• Cleaning started, focusing on the school ground.
• Parents and children worked together.
• It was a meaningful and fulfilling task.
• The kids wanted to try the heavy work — they really enjoy challenges!
• Since the rain got a bit stronger, we wrapped up at 8:00.

◆ This time, 4 families of foreign students joined us.
I asked, “What made you decide to join today?” — I didn’t even think about whether they understood Japanese or not.

Their answers were heartwarming:
“For our children.”
“Because we’re always being helped.”
“We’re part of the community too.”
“Sorry we can’t always join.”

I was really touched by their words.

Unlike last week’s rushed ending, this time we were able to finish calmly.
Oh, and we took a commemorative photo! Here’s one shot from that moment. (Sorry to those who joined last time!)

💬 My belief: “When we work together, we feel closer and we smile more.”
