国際教室では、国語や算数の学習だけではなく、行事の支援も行っています。先日の「命を守る訓練」での様子です。日本での「緊急地震速報の音」を聞いています。地震や火事が起きた時、どのように避難をすればよいのかを学んでいます。通訳の先生の説明を聞いて、確実に理解ができるようにしています。言葉がわからなかったから避難ができなかったということがないように、外国籍の児童を大切にしている今渡北小学校です。
